| there was a lagoon...shrouded with fog in the chill morning, bi-chromatic in muted grays and earthy greens from water to sky; a gradient. cormorants, ducks. i felt like Thoreau gliding after the laughing loon on the calm face of walden. |
pt mugu state aprk. sycamore cove:
a rocky, mountainous place with shadowy canyons textured with giant sycamores. scraggly hills dotted with cactus and black rocks overlooked a barren turquoise coast.

| walking from our site, under the 1, to the beach. when the tide came in during the night the sea crashed so loud under the road. i thought it would wash our away our tent while we slept. great tip from amy and matt. :) xoxo |
