just today

....to stay in the blogging game.
planning on more soon.

in the swamp we've walked through a thousand times a wild mulberry finally revealed itself to us.

branches low enough for little people to pick.

magic mulberry.

obligatory selfie. (happy to oblige. ;)  )

every mother takes her child into the wild so they can play with the bubble wrap they find there.

mystery plant

when the landscaping is 90% lawn you know the system is set up to be thirsty, and to be dead and yellow without regular watering. #failure. let our landscaping be climate/region appropriate! at least lincoln enjoys the regular rivers that flow down the gutters.

roseville: trains and fields.

"it's a small world after all..."

generally the silence sends me on a hunt for link. warms me to find this scene (and i don't have to fish anything out of the toilet.)

with a kale/banana/flax smoothie. big dog little dog. wearing undies! this kid went poo poo on the potty today!
scrounging in the fridge can result in genius: organic corn tortilla spicy local arugula and cheese quesadillas. we haven't had quesadillas since last summer, so a tasty mundane novelty.
big things a brewin', smelling baby summer's sweet golden smells, dreams of road maps and gas stations, and for now just training the spindly beans to climb their poles.
